The Ruling on the Divorce of an Angry Person
A woman was divorced by her husband twice while he was angry, and there were five years between the first and second divorces. Now he has divorced her a third time while he is angry. Does this divorce count? Can the husband enter the marital home?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If his anger led him to a stage where his actions went beyond the usual of cursing, insulting, hitting, and breaking, then the divorce does not take place, and he must consult the mufti to verify the actual situation, and God knows best.
