The Ruling on Seeking Refuge in Prayer
One of the preachers says: It is permissible in prayer, if the devil whispers to you, to seek refuge from him, and another says: Any word you utter in prayer that is not part of the prayer invalidates it. Which one should we follow?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Seeking refuge from the devil is a remembrance, and remembrance does not invalidate the prayer, and God knows best.
