The Ruling on Paying Zakat to Descendants
Is it permissible for a woman to give her Zakat to her daughter, her granddaughter, and her son's children due to their difficult and tight circumstances?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is not permissible to give zakat to sons and daughters and their children; because they are from the branches, and their maintenance is obligatory on some of them, and God knows best.
