A woman says that her husband swore an oath of divorce while he was angry, that if their son plays with electronic games, he will take the phone from him or divorce her. Does the divorce take effect?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: If the divorce is conditional upon a condition and that condition is fulfilled, then the divorce takes effect. She should consult the mufti directly to confirm the reality of the situation, and God knows best.
