The Ruling on Changing Intention in Prayer

Question

I intended to pray the Asr prayer, then I remembered that I had not prayed the Dhuhr. Is it permissible to change my intention to make up the Dhuhr?

Answer

I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to change the intention and resume the prayer anew, and God knows best.
