The Ruling on Breaking an Oath
A woman swore to her son that he should not go to the mosque, but he went. Does she have any obligation?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: She has to pay the expiation for an oath, which is equivalent to twenty Jordanian dinars, and God knows best.
