The Prayer of a Man with His Head Uncovered

Question
Is it disliked for a man to pray with his head uncovered?
Answer
Abdul Halim al-Laknawi said about praying with a turban: It is disliked to pray without it in countries where the habit of their inhabitants is that they do not go to the elders without a turban, and they do not leave their homes except while wearing a turban. As for the countries where they do not have this habit, then no. It has become well-known among the common people that if the imam is not wearing a turban and the followers are wearing turbans, then their prayer is disliked, and this is also a false statement with no evidence for it. See: Nafi' al-Mufti 37-38, and in Raf' al-Ishtebah about the issues of uncovering heads and wearing shoes in prayer by al-Kawthari, pages 5-9, which contradicts this.
