I say, and with God's success: It is not permissible to perform tayammum on a place where there was impurity, even if its trace has been removed; because it is a condition for the validity of tayammum that the surface on which it is performed must be pure; this is what is meant by "pure" in the verse: {So perform tayammum from pure soil} (An-Nisa: 43). Therefore, it is not permissible to perform tayammum on a place where there was impurity, even if its trace has been removed, although it is permissible to pray in it.
