Question
A person performs wudu an hour before sleeping, and then their wudu becomes invalid before they sleep. Is this wudu considered valid, or must they repeat it?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is preferable to sleep in a state of purity, meaning that one should go to bed while in a state of purity. If this state is nullified before going to bed, it is preferable to renew it, but it is not obligatory. And God knows best.
