Ruling on shortening prayer for the traveler
What should a traveler do during the journey if they intend to stay for a period exceeding the duration of travel, such as a month or two? Should they shorten the prayer or complete it?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: On a journey, one must shorten the prayer, and in a place where one intends to stay for fifteen days or more, one must complete the prayer there. And God knows best.
