Ruling on Reading from the Mushaf in Prayer
A person has memorized Surah Al-Baqarah and wants to read from the Mushaf during the night prayer. Which is better, to read from the Mushaf or from memory?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: reading from memory is better; because reading from the mushaf has a dispute regarding its invalidity among the jurists, and God knows best.
