Ruling on Following the Latecomer
A person joined the imam in the last tashahhud, and after the imam finished the prayer, this person stood up to complete what he missed; then another person came and followed the latecomer. Is this permissible? And does it affect the prayer of that latecomer who was followed by someone else?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: it is not correct to follow the one who has been delayed, and the prayer of the follower is invalid, and there is no harm to the delayed one, and God knows best.
