Ruling on Blood After Menopause
My menstrual cycle stopped about a year ago, but occasionally I experience blood flow like a thread. Am I required to perform ghusl and wudu for prayer every time the blood comes out?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If the blood lasts for three days, it is considered menstruation; otherwise, it is irregular bleeding, and it does not interrupt the prayer. Wudu is sufficient, not ghusl. And God knows best.
