I say, and with God's success: It is recommended in washing to pour water over the entire body three times, starting with the head, then the right shoulder, then the left, and then the rest of the body; as narrated by Aisha, may God be pleased with her: "When the Prophet (peace be upon him) would wash after sexual impurity, he would start by washing his hands, then perform ablution as he does for prayer, then he would dip his fingers in the water and comb through the roots of his hair, then he would pour three handfuls of water over his head, and then pour water over all of his skin," in Sahih al-Bukhari 1: 99.
