Permission to Take from Trust Money
My mother's income comes from charity and zakat, and because she forgets, she gives me this money to keep for her and to spend from it. I take from it what I need for my home. Is this permissible, and will I not be sinful if I take what I need, given that my mother has given me permission?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If your mother has permitted you to use some of the money, it is permissible for you, within the limits necessary for your needs, and you should fear God regarding this money, and do not spend it for anything other than necessity. And God knows best.
