I say, and with God's help: It is not permissible to give zakat to non-Muslims; as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Indeed, Allah has made it obligatory for them to give charity, which is taken from their wealthy and returned to their poor." Narrated by Bukhari (1496) and Muslim (19). It is permissible for a Muslim to donate to build a temple for non-Muslims, but it is preferable for you to donate to Muslims or to build mosques.
