Question
What is the ruling on the fast of someone who is accustomed to biting their nails with their teeth, and they put their finger in their mouth and the taste of bitterness reached their throat due to the effect of sterilizing materials?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If a bitter taste reaches his throat, it breaks the fast; because the throat is considered a valid cavity, he must make up that day, and he must refrain for the rest of the day out of respect for the month of Ramadan, and God knows best.
