If someone moves in their prayer from a pure place to an impure place, does their prayer become invalid?
Answer
If he stays in a place that is impure for the duration of a pillar of prayer, his prayer is invalid according to the preferred opinion. If he does not stay for the duration of a pillar, his prayer is not invalid. Refer to: Naf' al-Mufti p. 225, Jam' al-Rumuz 1: 80, and al-Maraqiy p. 208.
