If a woman prays without covering her feet, is her prayer valid?
Answer
Yes, her prayers are valid; because a woman's foot is not considered 'awrah (nakedness) in prayer, and the covering is for the sake of temptation, which is absent during prayer. Moreover, religion alleviates hardship, and covering the feet in prayer poses a hardship that is evident. See: Al-Bahr Al-Ra'iq 1: 284.
