Iddah of Khula
Is the waiting period obligatory for a woman who has undergone khula from her husband, knowing that she has been separated from him for a year and a half before the khula?

I say, and with God's success: The waiting period must always be observed after the divorce is confirmed, and khula is a type of divorce, even if the woman has been separated from her husband for some time; because the waiting period is a right of Sharia, and it is necessary, and God knows best.
