Answer
It is in the well-known and established manner without addition or omission; narrated by Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Zayd from his father, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, had intended to use a horn and ordered a bell to be struck. Abdullah ibn Zayd was shown in a dream, he said: I saw a man wearing two green garments carrying a bell. I said to him: O Abdullah, do you sell the bell? He said: And what would you do with it? I said: I would call to prayer with it. He said: Shall I not guide you to something better than that? I said: And what is it? He said: You say: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah, I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah, I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, come to prayer, come to prayer, come to success, come to success, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is no deity but Allah. Abdullah ibn Zayd went out until he came to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and informed him of what he saw. He said: O Messenger of Allah, I saw a man wearing two green garments carrying a bell and narrated the story to him. The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: Your companion has seen a vision, go out with Bilal to the mosque and teach it to him, and let Bilal call out, for his voice is more beautiful than yours. So I went out with Bilal to the mosque and I taught it to him while he called it out. Umar ibn al-Khattab heard the voice and came out, saying: O Messenger of Allah, by Allah, I have seen something like what he saw..."
