Hearing a Woman's Voice in the Quran
Is it permissible for a man to hear a woman's voice while she is reciting the Holy Quran or delivering lessons and sermons? And is the woman sinful in this regard?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is disliked for a man to hear a woman's voice in recitation due to the temptation it may cause, and it is disliked for her to recite the Quran in front of men without necessity due to the temptation it may cause. And God knows best.
