Eating While Standing
We were eating together, and everyone was sitting except for one person who was eating while standing; because he feels comfortable when he eats standing. One of the seated people advised him against this action, so is his action (standing) disliked?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Eating while standing is contrary to what is preferable: that is, it is mildly disliked, and God knows best.
