Combining in Arafat with Multiple Groups
In our days, it is not possible to combine the Asr and Dhuhr prayers in Arafat behind one Imam due to the large number of pilgrims. Therefore, is it permissible to combine them with several groups behind several Imams?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible according to the opinion of the two companions to combine Dhuhr and Asr with multiple Imams, and it is preferable to issue a fatwa on this in our time, and God knows best.
