Combining Two Intentions in Fasting
What is the ruling on fasting the days of Tashreeq concerning fasting the white days? And what is the Sunnah followed on the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: it is not correct to combine intentions, and it occurs according to the strongest of them. It is preferable to be sincere in intention instead of that. It is recommended to fast on these mentioned days; due to the absence of prohibition in them, they take the ruling of other days of the month. And God knows best.
