A Woman Traveling Without a Mahram
Is it permissible for a woman residing in Jeddah to go alone to Mecca to perform Umrah, or to go with her cousin who is not a Mahram for her?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If the distance of travel between Jeddah and Mecca does not permit her to travel without a mahram, and a cousin is not considered a mahram for her, then it is not permissible for her to travel with him. And God knows best.
