What is the ruling on a woman covering her hands in prayer?

I contribute with my husband in the household, and I share with him in expenses and financial loans. He is strict with us regarding expenses and keeps track of them. Is it permissible for me to take from this money without his knowledge?

A woman who suffered burns in the hair, ear, and neck area, is her prayer valid if those parts are exposed?
