A woman vowed to sacrifice a sheep, and she died before fulfilling the vow. Do the heirs have to fulfill the vow if the condition she vowed for is met?

I read the Quran continuously, and I thank God for that, with an average of one complete reading every month that I dedicate to my deceased father and my mother who is now (80) years old. Is this permissible, and what is the legal ruling? I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in a dream a few months ago, and I looked at his face like the shining moon. Since that day, whenever I complete the Quran, I dedicate it to our Noble Messenger (peace be upon him). Is this permissible? Considering that our Master Muhammad, may God forgive him for his past and future sins, is a means of drawing closer and showing affection to our Noble Messenger.

Do the good deeds performed by a person reach the reward to their deceased parents, or is it necessary to specifically dedicate a recitation and offer its reward to the deceased parents?
