I say, and with God's help: It is treated like merchandise, so zakat is not obligatory on it without the intention of trade, because it cannot be acquired without deceit, thus there is a necessity to disregard the little, and there is no necessity in the much; for the defeated in comparison to the victorious is like the nonexistent, and God knows best.
