Zakat of Companies
A large company wants to pay zakat, and its profit ratio is close to the zakat ratio. Should it pay zakat only on the profits or also on the merchandise, thus reducing the company's profits?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Zakat is required to be paid on all merchandise and on the profit; because zakat is due on everything, and God knows best.
