Water Mixed with Pure Liquid

Question
What is the ruling on using water that has been mixed with a pure liquid?
Answer

I say, and with God's success: The water that has been mixed with a pure liquid has four cases:First: If the liquid has no description that contradicts water in color, taste, or smell: like used water: then the consideration is based on the predominance of weight. If two liters of used water are mixed with one liter of pure water, it is not permissible to perform ablution or bathing with it, and if they are equal in weight, the ruling of the defeated is taken as a precaution, so it is not permissible to perform ablution or bathing with it. This consideration of predominance applies whether the used water is poured into the pure water, or the person immerses himself in it, or dips his hands or feet into it; because only what falls from the limbs or touches the body is used from it, and it is small in relation to the rest of the water.Second: If the liquid has one description: like pumpkin water or watermelon water, then its water does not contradict pure water except in taste. If this description appears from it, it becomes pure but does not purify from ritual impurity, so it is permissible to remove real impurity with it, but it is not permissible to perform ablution or bathing with it.Third: If the liquid has two descriptions: like milk which has two descriptions: color and taste, and has no smell, if one description appears from it, it becomes pure but does not purify from ritual impurity, so it is permissible to remove real impurity with it, but it is not permissible to perform ablution or bathing with it.Fourth: If the liquid has three descriptions: like vinegar which has color, taste, and smell, if one description appears from it, it does not harm, but if two descriptions appear from it, it becomes pure but does not purify from ritual impurity, so it is permissible to remove real impurity with it, but it is not permissible to perform ablution or bathing with it.
