I say, and with God's success: It is necessary to wash the side of the beard near the ear, which is called "the 'idhar," and it is also necessary to wash the white area between the 'idhar and the ear according to the fatwa; because the white area is included in the limit of the face, and it is not covered by hair, so it remains obligatory to wash as it was.
