The Ruling on Intention in Ablution

Question
When I perform ablution according to the Shafi'i school, I must intend in my heart that I am performing the obligatory act when I start washing my face. However, according to the Hanafi school, this is not permissible because they consider rinsing the mouth and inhaling water into the nose to be obligatory, based on what I have heard?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: In the Hanafi school, intention is a Sunnah, and you do not need to go through this complexity. If you intend, you will be rewarded; if you do not intend, you will miss out on the reward of intention, and God knows best.
