Question
Is the remaining wetness on the hand after wiping a part of the body sufficient to wipe the head in ablution?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: it is not enough, and one does not become in a state of ablution; for the wiping of the head, which is obligatory in ablution, is achieved by the wet hand touching the member, either by moisture taken from the vessel, or by moisture remaining on the hand after washing a member of the washed parts. However, after wiping a member of the wiped parts, it does not count. Refer to: Sharh al-Wiqayah p. 76, and al-Sayah 1: 76, and God knows best.
