I say, and with God's success: It is prohibited for him to engage in sexual relations and its causes; due to His saying, the Exalted: {And do not approach them while you are in I'tikaf in the mosques} Al-Baqarah: 187. Therefore, the causes of it are also included, which are touching and kissing; because sexual intercourse is forbidden by text, it extends to its causes.
