Gifting to a Foreign Woman Through Her Mother
What is the ruling on a person loving a girl who loves him back, and he reassures her and gifts her without sitting with her or talking to her; but through her mother?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: If he wants to marry her, he should propose to her. He should not attach the girl to himself with gifts and then leave her. The correct way is to propose and then marry, in order to protect the girl and her reputation and honor. And God knows best.
