I say with God's guidance: It is disliked to cleanse with any respected material: such as paper, silk cloth, and human food like wheat and barley; because it involves wasting resources without necessity, and it is established in the two Sahihs that wasting resources is prohibited. If one does cleanse with these items, it is permissible but disliked; because what matters is cleanliness, which is achieved; and because the prohibition is due to a reason not related to the act itself, it does not prevent the attainment of purity: like cleansing with someone else's cloth or water.
