Question
Are the advance and the deferred the same after inflation over the years, or should their value be adjusted?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The original principle is that they remain as they are, and the husband pays what was agreed upon; because it is a debt and must remain as it is, unless there is a very significant disparity, such that its value has decreased drastically, to the extent that its value has diminished many times over, in which case it should be valued accordingly, and God knows best.
